The 4th Court of Appeal granted the California Attorney General’s motion to stay the Riverside County Superior Court ruling which had overturned the End of Life Option Act. The statute is again the law in the state of California. Consistent with Santa Clara County Emergency Medical Services Prehospital Care Policy #109: Policy Development and Implementation, the EMS Agency is rescinding AO 2018-004 for Santa Clara County Prehospital Care Policy 619.
